Growth factor infiltrations
Growth factor infiltrations

Growth Factors or Protein-Rich Plasma are soluble protein substances contained within platelets, capable of stimulating other cells to initiate a wide variety of processes, such as forming new tissue, healing, repairing tissues, curing bones, ligaments, skin….

These factors specifically bind to receptors on the surface of the cell where they need to act. They are a chemical messenger capable of inducing, stimulating, and promoting their multiplication in case of injury and repairing the specific tissue in each case. Adult stem cells need this stimulus from growth factors to produce specific substances and cells for the tissue they need to form.

The procedure to extract these factors is simple, safe, painless, and without anesthesia. A small amount of blood is drawn as for a blood test, in order to obtain the necessary platelet concentrate. We perform a specific procedure with the blood, and once we obtain the PLASMA RICH IN GROWTH FACTORS, we inject it using very fine needles into the area to be treated.

It has no side effects because it is an autologous implant, therefore there are no possible allergic reactions. Once the application is finished, ice and magnetic fields are administered "in situ." The patient can go home, where they will apply ice for a couple of days.

When we use Growth Factors:

• In fracture consolidation.

• Bone grafts.

• Delayed healing.

• Pseudoarthrosis.

• Osteoarthritis.

• Tendon, muscle injuries….

• Facial rejuvenation.

Helping in each case to facilitate recovery from the problem, repairing the injury, and reducing inflammation and pain.
