Our Treatment
The PRP treatment is carried out through a protocol that has been studied and applied for 15 years among all spine specialists. It consists of applying our own regenerative proteins to injuries (for example, in herniated discs or osteoarthritis).
Being an autologous medication (from our own body), it does not produce adverse reactions. This treatment is applied without pain thanks to sedation, which avoids the use of general anesthesia and hospitalization. This eliminates the problems associated with open surgery. There are no surgical wounds and, therefore, no subsequent fibrosis (failed open surgery).
The application of this treatment in the lumbar and cervical spine, considered in Regenerative Medicine, allows for the repair of the injury and exerts a strong analgesic effect, reducing pain. In cases of chronic pain, it greatly reduces its progression and can even eliminate it.

The Process
The minimally invasive therapy in the lumbar or cervical spine with growth factors begins with the preparation of the patient in the clinic.
- Days before the treatment: low-fat diet and pre-operative tests conducted at our clinic.
- The treatment: Blood extraction 1 hour before, PRP preparation, and a 30-minute protocol under mild sedation, without pain.
- After the treatment: Recovery from sedation. After an hour, a check-up is performed, and the patient is discharged to walk home on their own.
- Upon arriving home: Relative rest, ice application to the affected area every 2 hours, and supportive medication (following nursing instructions).
Number of usual applications (minimum): 3 sessions
