Orthopedic treatments

Orthopedic treatments are those that improve or solve congenital deformities through the application of various non-surgical techniques. They are often combined with orthopedic orthoses (splints), physiotherapy, and rehabilitation.

Patients can range from newborns with foot deformities: clubfoot (equinovarus), internal rotation of the lower limb, genu varum of the knees; in the spine scoliosis, spina bifida, spondylolysis as well as in the upper limb: trigger thumb, polydactyly (one or two extra fingers), etc.
